The keto diet is an eating plan that centres around fat-rich and low-carb food. This diet can help treat certain medical conditions or give people a healthy way to lose weight.

But it also means you can’t eat a lot of traditional desserts.

That doesn’t mean you have to cut them out completely, though.

Take a look at these six fast, easy, and delicious keto desserts that’ll satisfy your sweet tooth during a craving.

1. Keto Chocolate Cake

This chocolate cake is low carb, makes 9 servings, and only takes one bowl!

Here’s what you’ll need for the cake:

  • 6 eggs
  • 160 mL heavy whipping cream
  • 90 g coconut flour
  • 150 g swerve sweetener
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 120 mL melted butter
  • 9.5 g baking powder

Here’s what you’ll need for the icing:

  • 240 mL heavy whipping cream
  • 35 g cocoa powder
  • 50 g swerve sweetener
  • 4.8 g vanilla extract

That’s right. No sugar required!

Here’s what you’ll do:

Set your oven to 176 degrees Celcius and grease your cake pan.

Mix all the cake ingredients together in a large bowl with an electric mixer. Dump the mixture into the cake pan and bake for 25 minutes.

To make the icing, start by whipping the heavy whipping cream until it stands in stiff peaks. Add the other ingredients and mix until they’re just combined.

Once the cake is cool, frost and serve.

2. Keto Ice Cream

While this ice cream does take a while to freeze, it only takes five minutes to make.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 99 g coconut milk
  • 475 mL heavy cream
  • 50 g swerve sweetener
  • 4.8 g vanilla extract

You’ll want to let the coconut milk sit in the refrigerator overnight before you use it.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Scoop the coconut cream into a mixing bowl (leaving the liquid out) and mix until creamy with an electric beater.

In a separate bowl, mix the heavy cream with an electric beater until it forms soft peaks. Then add the vanilla and the sweetener. Fold in the coconut cream and dump the mixture into a loaf pan.

Freeze until solid (five hours or overnight).

3. Keto Avocado Pops

Do you prefer avocado to vanilla? This recipe is quick and easy, and you’ll get 10 popsicles from it.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 3 avocados (ripe)
  • 2 limes (for juice)
  • 150 g chocolate (keto friendly)
  • 80 mL coconut milk
  • 14.3 g swerve sweetener
  • 15 mL coconut oil

If you don’t have two limes, you can also use 80 mL of lime juice.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Use a food processor to blend the avocados, lime juice, swerve, and coconut milk together until smooth. Pour the mixture in a popsicle mould and freeze at least six hours or overnight.

Once frozen, mix the chocolate and coconut oil together in a microwave safe bowl and melt. Let the chocolate cool to room temperature, then dip the avocado pops into it.

You can then serve or refreeze them.

4. Keto Brownies

If you’re looking for a quick dessert you can whip up after dinner, these keto brownies only take 30 minutes to prep and cook.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g erythritol
  • 60 g almond flour
  • 25 g dark cocoa powder
  • .375 pound softened butter
  • 2.4 g baking powder
  • 56 g dark chocolate

For the best results, let the eggs warm up to room temperature before you start.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Preheat your oven to 176 degrees Celcius and line a baking pan with parchment paper.

Combine the almond flour, sweetener, cocoa powder, and baking powder together in a large bowl.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Mix the butter and chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and melt, stirring every 30 seconds. Pour the chocolate into the eggs and mix. Add the dry ingredients and mix to form a batter.

Dump the mixture into the pan and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes.

5. Keto Chocolate Chip Cookies

These chocolate chip cookies are the perfect solution to a busy afternoon when you’re craving something sweet. Just don’t eat all 18 in one sitting!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 2 eggs
  • 330 g almond flour
  • 110 g dark chocolate chips (keto friendly)
  • 120 mL melted butter
  • 25 g swerve sweetener
  • 30 mL heavy cream
  • 10 mL vanilla extract
  • 1.2 g salt

You’ll also need some cooking spray.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Start by preheating your oven to 176 degrees Celcius and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix the eggs with the butter, the heavy cream, and the vanilla in a large bowl. Then add the dry ingredients (flour, salt, swerve).

Once the mixture forms a batter, add the chocolate chips. Then roll the batter into small balls (about 1 inch around) and place them 3 inches apart on the baking sheet. Use the bottom of a glass cup (greased with cooking spray) to flatten the balls of dough.

Bake for 17 to 19 minutes.
